Awarded Life Membership - October 2023

It is with great pleasure that I award Life Membership to Stephanie Breen, a dedicated and invaluable member of our club for over twenty years. Stephanie has consistently demonstrated an unwavering commitment to our club, taking on numerous roles and responsibilities with enthusiasm and dedication.

Stephanie's significant involvement began during a time when our committee was small, and our finances were challenging. She served as assistant secretary to Christine Millwood during her presidency, showcasing her organizational skills and dedication to the club's success.

With a keen interest in sports training, Stephanie updated her qualifications and has been a sports trainer for twenty years. She eventually took on the role of Head Trainer, excelling in mentoring and supporting our club trainers. Under her guidance, we now boast one of the most skilled and competent teams of trainers in the NTFA/NTJFA.

In addition to her contributions as a sports trainer, Stephanie played a crucial role in fundraising efforts. She and a small team ran a seafood stall at ‘Festivale’ for three years, raising significant funds for the club. The countless hours spent preparing and serving seafood, as well as packing up each year, did not go unnoticed.

Stephanie's dedication to our players is unparalleled. She constantly supports them through injury recovery, cooks meals on Thursday nights, hosts them at the shed, and even takes on the role of designated driver for most away games. Her efforts extend to coordinating our bar and stepping in whenever needed.

Since I have been president, Stephanie has been an outstanding support, responding to endless requests and generously giving her time to the club. Her volunteer hours are immeasurable, and her contributions have been invaluable.

Stephanie, your dedication and hard work have not gone unnoticed. On behalf of the entire club, I extend my heartfelt congratulations and gratitude. Please come forward to accept your Life Membership Badge.
