Michael LeFevre was presented the NTFA Clarie Boon Memorial Trophy by NTFA President Scott Rigby.
Michael was a ECSs General Committee Member for
ten years and the initiator and key driver of the annual Pyengana Heritage Game.
Michael also initiated major fundraising activities including the Annual Monster
Auction and regular Wood Raffles and the annual Christmas Raffle. Michael credits
the support of his family Carol and Hannah along with the very loyal band of
Pyengana helpers as key to these major initiatives coming to fruition.
The Bay Boys played an outstanding second half to come from 24 points down part way through the second quarter to defeat Perth 10 8 - 68 to 8 11 - 59. Ethan Goldfinch was awarded the Best on Ground medallion and Nick Child in a classy forward line role kicked four goals. Nathan Lowe highlighted the whole team contribution as being a critical factor in the second half turn round.
